Gates (Guillotine damper) are required for isolation of Flue Gas Desulphurization(FGD) plant, Gates are provided at the FGD inlet and other at the FGD-outlet. These Gates are normally open when the FGD plant is in working condition. Gates are to be closed only during maintenance of the FGD plant and during the opening of the FGD Bypass damper. Mechwell is able to provide Guillotine gates having 100 % sealing efficiency with seal air fan and 99.95% without seal air fan.
