Melinex® PCS is an optically clear, polyester (PET) film with a protective layer on one surface. The protective film layer prevents external contamination of the underlying polyester film surface, and allows easy transportation and handling of the film prior to further processing. Removal of the protective film reveals a clean, uncontaminated polyester film surface. Also available with UV properties (Melinex® PCSUV)

In addition to optically clear low oligomer films, DTF is now promoting several new PET films which are Hydrolysis and UV stable/blocking, Flame Retardant (VTM-0), and Thermoformable for applications such as Flexible Printed Circuits, In-Mold Electronics, Photovoltaics, and more.
