Electric private vehicles are a bit like marmite - you either love them, or you hate them. Some consider them as the way forward for transportation as a whole - whether that be private, public or logistic - and others see them as just another car contributing to the build-up of traffic. But what if we took a step back and accepted that, inevitably, not everyone will make the move to public transport? Or if we consider those that live in extremely rural or difficult to access areas, where other alternatives (such as DRT services or active travel) are an inefficient and unreasonable option?
