A warm welcome to The Virtual Mining Show 2020.
 
The Virtual Mining Show 2020 arrives at a time of unprecedented global disruption, although historically the mining industry has always shown a level of resilience to economic downturns where others have perished. 
 
Whilst it is not possible to predict how Covid-19 will further disrupt the mining industry, what is certain is that the mining industry must reconfigure and prepare itself to operate under a new normal, one in which it can operate and sustain itself under the new constraints and challenges that such pandemics bring with them.
 
The first of its kind, this fully virtual event will focus on the strategies, technologies and big ideas that will be essential for the mining and quarrying industry in 2020 and beyond. Given the many travel restrictions in place for various countries and companies, The Virtual Mining Show 2020 provides an additional opportunity for our community to learn, network and do business, from wherever they are in the world.
 
Over the next 2 days, we’ll be broadcasting presentations and live panel debates from leading mining executives across the globe. There will be interactive roundtable sessions, virtual meeting rooms, a virtual exhibition and live virtual networking.
