Information

The Dolores mine is a large silver mine located in the north of Chihuahua (Mexico). Dolores represents one of the largest silver reserves in Mexico and in the world. The mine expansion was developed under a large number of constraints that favored the use of Coletanche BGM. Coletanche was placed on the new heap leach pad bottom lining. The reasons of choice were its high puncture resistance, the lack of quality clay in situ to develop a proper pad, and the fact that is possible to install Coletanche in extreme weather conditions, so no work delay due to weather constraints.
