Hand drawn mirror and glass

Georgian glass and mirror is the term we apply to hand drawn mirror. It comes in different thicknesses and is limited in size due to its fragility but is exceptionally pretty when used in joinery. We also offer the glass in different colours. Georgian drawn glass has a constant uneven surface like soft beaten metal. Available in a thickness of 3mm or 5mm glass. The 5mm has a heavier undulation than the 3mm. Seeded cylinder drawn glass is our most unusual drawn glass and has clearly visible ‘seeds’ which adds to the interest in the already uneven glass. Rippled cylinder drawn glass closest resembles that used historically, as seen in traditional mirror plates. The wave like distortion to the surface is more uneven than that of the Georgian drawn glass and there are often also small pin prick air bubbles visible.
