As an experienced Nurse from the NHS or private care, you'll join the team at Rhodes Wood Hospital as a Mental Health Nurse and change lives for the better. You will join a team that works well together to provide care to children and young adults with a diagnosis of an eating disorder or emerging personality disorder supporting them to leads valued and fulfilled life. It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you. Our hospital operates 24/7. You will work shifts including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Standard shifts are 12 hours, working 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next. Shepherds Way, Hatfield AL9 6NN Join the vibrant team at Rhodes Wood Hospital, a specialist CAMHS Eating Disorder service with 3 wards, which empowers recovery in a fast-paced, challenging and fun environment for children and young people aged 8-18 years with eating disorders. You will support a warm and nurturing environment, allowing for the understanding of symptoms, patterns and origins of psychological distress, and will actively encourage children to personalise bedroom spaces to make these feel like a home from home.
