Achieving ambitious and high quality outcomes for learners with SEND will be a focus of the upcoming SEND review. But what are key principles of professional practice required to enable every learner to reach their potential?

ASDAN will outline six characteristics of effective SEND practice for learners aged 11 and over, as presented in the current January/February edition of SEN Magazine (p38). A tutor will describe what has worked in her centre to help learners achieve desired outcomes before the session will be opened up to you as attendees to share your top tips and experiences. We are looking forward to hearing your views on how learners with SEND can be best supported to achieve ambitious outcomes and make a successful transition to further study and adulthood.
