Welcome to Ambito Care and Education

Ambito Care and Education provide personalised services and support to children and young adults with a range of physical and learning disabilities, complex health needs and social, emotional and mental health needs. We work with each individual, alongside their families and carers to really understand the challenges they face and to develop solutions which match each person’s abilities and aspirations to lead a fulfilling life. 

Our vision is for all children and young people to be educated close to home with all their individual education, care and health needs being met. We are experts in providing education and support for disabled children and young people, promoting independence, skills and confidence.

  • We offer true flexibility – from day places to residential 52 weeks per year, short breaks to holiday clubs

Ambito offers a range of Educational Provisions: 

Beaumont College  

  • Beaumont College offers both residential and day programmes in Lancaster with our satellite services offering day programmes delivered in Barrow, Blackpool, and Carlisle.       
  • All of our college sites offer programmes for young people aged 18 to 25 with a broad range of physical and/or learning impairments.        
  • Students are offered a variety of specialist support from highly trained staff, working alongside our tutors.        
  • Each student accesses an individual programme based on a combination of course choices that are tailored to meet individual needs and aspirations.

Cavendish View School  

  • Cavendish View School is our brand new primary provision in Liverpool.        
  • Cavendish View School provides a nurturing and stimulating education environment for pupils aged 5-11 years with special educational needs, moderate learning difficulties or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

Craig-y-Parc School  

  • Craig-y-Parc School offers day and residential 38 or 52 week placements for pupils aged 3-19 years with physical and sensory disabilities, complex needs such as cerebral palsy, epilepsy and a wide range of additional learning needs.       
  • Craig y Parc has a reputation for helping our students to realise their educational and personal potential.       
  • All aspects of learning are supported by a highly experienced team of Teachers, Learning Support Workers, Key Workers, Speech & Language Therapists, Physio and Occupational Therapists, IT and Assistive Technology support, Nurses and Social Care support workers.       
  • Craig y Parc School is in Pentyrch, Cardiff.

Ingfield Manor School  

  • Ingfield Manor School is an established special school for students aged 3–19 years with neurological motor impairment such as cerebral palsy and associated sensory and medical needs.        
  • We follow a Conductive Education curriculum which focuses on developing the potential of each individual. We offer a specialist service to support developing strategies for meaningful communication for all our children and young people.        
  • Our provision includes day and residential provision, based in our own idyllic grounds close to Billingshurst, West Sussex.

Walton Nusery & Early Years Centre  

  • Walton Nursery & Early Years Centre offer a child centred approach where children 2-5 years are encouraged to develop their creativity, individuality and self-confidence in secure surroundings, led by fully trained staff.     
  • We are an inclusive provision with qualified SENCOs, soft play and a sensory room.    
  • Walton Nursery and Early Years is in Liverpool.
