These 1K UV-curing resins are also suitable for potting electronic components and beyond. Covering applications such as transformers, filters, capacitors, etc., they offer good thermal conductivity, low water absorption, excellent dielectric properties, and superior thermal endurance. Certified to UL 94 V-0 for flame resistance, these materials provide the same properties as traditional heat-curing resins but cure under UV light, making them ideal for applications where exposure to high temperatures is not feasible. The development of the curing wave during the hardening process is key, allowing even non-directly exposed resin areas to cure. Once this curing wave is initiated, no further energy input is required—the UV radiation can be removed, and the material will fully harden.
