MAARIF Institute (Indonesia)

Established in 2002 and committed to as a cultural movement in the contexts of Islam, humanity, and citizenship. As a leading NGO and Think Tank for Pluralism-Tolerance and Preventing/Countering Violent Extremism issues in Indonesia since 2010, MAARIF Institute has two scopes of work including research and social interventions. These have stipulated in programs on tolerance and preventing radicalism, citizenship, disability and inclusiveness, education intervention for teachers and students, as well as pluralism and media.
