About Indonesia Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia or abbreviated as Kemenparekraf RI is the ministry within the Indonesian Government in charge of tourism affairs. The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is under and responsible to the President. The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is led by a Minister of Tourism (Menparekraf) who since December 23, 2020, has been held by Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno.

Currently, the Ministry of Tourism is also focused on developing 5 super-priority destinations that will implement the CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability) policy, namely on destinations: Lake Toba (North Sumatra), Likupang (North Sulawesi), Borobudur (Central Java). ), Mandalika (West Nusa Tenggara), and Labuan Bajo (East Nusa Tenggara).
