Welcome to the Melbourne Music Hub! This is a space for you to learn about and engage with the Melbourne music industry, known as the live music capital of Victoria, Australia.
In the Featured Products & Services section, you'll be able to explore a number of Melbourne owned and operated music businesses. These businesses will be online through SXSW, so please reach out and connect with them. Alternatively you can send us a message via the 'Talk to Melbourne Music Hub' chat function and we'll put you in touch.
On Wednesday 17th March at 5.00pm CT, join our Official SXSW Event, Melbourne's Masterplan: COVID Safe Live Music. This event will include a panel discussion + a speed networking session.
Sounds Australia will be presenting their CLOSE UP virtual showcase series, be sure to register for the following events in your schedule:
- CLOSE UP on Wednesday 17 March, 9.00pm CT. Featuring Victorian artists Alexander Biggs, Baker Boy, Hachiku and Shannen James.
- CLOSE UP on Thursday 18 March, 9.00pm CT. Featuring Victorian artists Alice Skye, Beans and Kee'ahn.
- CLOSE UP on Friday 19 March, 9.00pm CT. Featuring Victorian artists Didirri and The Merindas.
London-based record label Mercury KX, home to diverse and genre-defying artists will be presenting their showcase on Saturday 20 March, 12.30pm CT, featuring Melbourne composer Luke Howard.
