PPA Origination Manager - UK (London)

We are looking for a PPA Origination Manager to join our growing Power Marketing team! Reporting to the Head of European Origination, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and originating relationships that lead to power purchase agreements for development projects in Europe, focusing on the UK, Germany and Poland markets. The PPA Origination Manager will use their knowledge of local power markets to build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties, including prospective off-takers (utilities, C&I, electro-intensive consumers), existing customers, renewable advisors and sustainability organizations. The PPA Origination Manager is an integral part of the Business Development team and works side-by-side with the project development, acquisitions, and investment team, managing the off-taker agreement from beginning to end. The PPA Origination Manager develops commercial activities by scouting and originating long-term energy supply agreements with utility, commercial and industrial customers, and by promoting partnerships with traditional and non-traditional energy purchasers. The PPA Origination Manager will build and evaluate opportunities and relationships from a tactical and financial point of view with the goal of developing new contracting opportunities. It is an exciting, varied role that supports all aspects of power origination, including prospecting, RFPs, bilateral, bid strategy, pricing, screening, PPA negotiations. The PPA Origination Manager will also support market research, promote defined marketing campaigns, and articulate internal and external benchmarks related to renewable energy supply services and new business models.
