The Ørsted vision is a world that runs entirely on green energy. Ørsted develops, constructs and operates offshore and onshore wind farms, solar farms, energy storage facilities, and bioenergy plants, and provides energy products to its customers. Globally, Ørsted is the market leader in offshore wind with around 30 years of experience. The UK is Ørsted's largest market and its UK offshore wind farms generate enough clean electricity to power 4.5 million UK homes. By the end of 2021, Ørsted will have invested over £13 billion building offshore wind farms in the UK and by 2022, Ørsted's UK offshore wind farms will generate over 7% of the UK's electricity.
