Finapp's patented soil moisture sensor allows continuous measurement of soil moisture content if the technology is installed 2m above the ground and, in space, if the hardware is mounted on an agricultural vehicle used during agronomic and agricultural practices.
By moving the sensor, you investigate the distribution of soil moisture within your field.
The purpose of this type of data collection allows the user to make conscious use of the water resource and thus save the application of fertilisers while optimising the agricultural yield.

The fundamental advantage of this application is to know in detail the soil moisture, so as to really take advantage of the new variable-rate irrigation systems, which make it possible to differentiate irrigation water volumes by controlling the forward or rotational speed of rangers and pivots. Knowledge of soil moisture is thus pushed to the maximum, optimizing automated irrigation even more.
