The Black-Rot, not much present in the Loire Valley, a risk for 2024 and the years to come?

Information

Black rot has always been considered a "secondary" disease, and this is particularly true in the Loire Valley, where it is not very prevalent. Nevertheless, this disease could be an emerging problem in the coming years with the new restrictions on the use of phystopharmaceutical products and the increase in areas planted with mildew- and powdery mildew-resistant varieties. This conference will review the biology of blackrot, present the screening results of biosolutions (zero blackrot project) and provide an overview of current research and development projects.
