The combined use of different practices to maintain the soil are one of the possibilities to ensurie the long-term future of the vineyard. The inputs of organic matter have a number of objectives, such as maintaining carbon stocks and managing weeds between rows and rows of vines as an alternative to weeding, while at the same time meeting the nutrient requirements of the soil and the vines. This conference presents feedback from trials and the recommendations that can be drawn from them.
