Information

Firstly, Cristiana Oghina-Pavie, Senior Lecturer in Contemporary History at the University of Angers, will look at the history of the GEVES National Seed Testing Station, which celebrates its 140th anniversary in 2024. This first approach will help us to understand the origins of regulations and the need to assess seed quality. In the 2nd part, a pannel discussion will bring together various experts in seed and seed quality assessment, to discuss the issues of today and tomorrow, as well as the innovative technologies that complement human expertise in seed quality and hence plant production.
