Information
Drosophila suzukii, an emerging pest species, is now widespread in France, causing damage that can lead to total crop loss if fruit crops are left unprotected, particularly cherries and small red fruit. To combat this fly, techniques that can be transferred to organic farming have been tested or are currently being tested: preventive measures, nets, clay applications, parasitoid releases and even the use of the sterile insect technique. This conference is an opportunity to review the latest advances in research on this subject.
