GEVES expertise to assess the effectiveness of biocontrol alternatives

As reducing the use of phytosanitary products is one of the objectives of the Ecophyto plan, many players in the sector are developing alternative treatment solutions in order to meet the targets set. The viability, harmfulness and transmission of pathogens from the soil or the seed to the seedling can be measured using various existing tools, as well as new complementary methods developed by GEVES. This makes it possible to meet the expectations of solution providers and assess the effectiveness of these new bio-agressors control products. More than ever, the pathogens present on seeds need to be detected, but their harmfullness also needs to be considered.
