RoteX Aquaculture®

RoteX Aquaculture® from KAPP Skaginn ensures efficient bleeding and rapid chilling, improving product quality by controlling bleeding times and maintaining precise temperature control. The RoteX Thawing® system offers advanced thawing for frozen fish blocks, providing complete control over thawing time, water temperature, and energy consumption through the ON-TRACK computer system. The system setup is flexible with the possibility for two separate tanks (bleeding and chilling), but customer requirements determine the size and complexity of the system. The full system has two different sections (tanks) where the fish are stunned and bled for 30-40 minutes at an optimal temperature. After bleeding, the fish is gutted and delivered to the chilling tank where it is rapidly chilled to close to 0°C.
