SAF® is an advanced flotation process that uses charged microbubbles to separate suspended solids, fats, oils, and grease from process water, producing cleaner effluent and concentrated solids for removal. The technology operates without dissolving air under pressure, allowing it to maintain consistent performance across changing wastewater conditions while reducing energy demand, chemical usage, and operator attention compared with conventional flotation systems. SAF® systems are engineered as compact, integrated treatment units that can be installed as new pretreatment systems or retrofitted into existing flotation equipment.
