Sishamo (dried and frozen capelin)

Shishamo is a mature capelin female with roe content of 16-20%. The hole female is semi-dried following a traditional Japanese method. After drying, the fish are carefully packed into vacuum-sealed trays and quick-frozen to preserve freshness. Each tray contains 200 g, typically holding 11–13 pieces. Weight individual pack 200g net. Weight master carton 2kg (10x200g). Produced in Iceland distributed from Poland. Capelin latin name (Mallotus villosus). Fishing area: FAO 27 Iceland.
