Mason Economic Development Council

The Economic Development Council of Mason County is a one-stop-shop for site selectors, businesses and workers interested in moving to Mason County or expanding in the region.

The Economic Development Council of Mason County exists to support economic growth and sustainability in Mason County. By partnering with organizations, community and business leaders, the EDC provides hands-on support and solutions to help local businesses thrive and to recruit new businesses to the area. The EDC is also involved in quality of life initiatives and the overall promotion of Mason County.

Founded in 1983, the Economic Development Council of Mason County is a proactive, results-oriented community based partnership working with more than 125 associates to assist businesses in locating or expanding in Mason County. The EDC offers companies wishing to do business with and in Mason County a single source destination for serving their needs in site location and acquisition, business data and demographics, and process facilitation.

Through visionary thinking and strategic relationships, the EDC eases the way for efficient business location and expansion assistance and is the lead organization in terms of promoting job creation and economic vitality in Mason County. The EDC works with its many partners to help solve transportation, utility, and regulatory issues as well as local government, education, and other community based groups as its partners.
