Through its participation in Shift2Rail and other European Innovation programs, Indra is deploying Wireless solutions to enhance railway operations and safety, moving towards higher level of automation and digitalization of railways. The solutions developed enable Wireless Communication and digitalization of elements, which allows, for example: train monitoring and integrity control, Wireless control of vital infrastructure elements, deployment of on board services based on a Wagon On-Board Unit, and Smart train composition coupling.
