Adif is the main Rail Infrastructure Manager in Spain, a public company attached to the Spanish Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda.

Adif is responsible for the design, the construction, supervision, traffic management and maintenance of the rail network, including the High Speed lines and the conventional and commuter networks. Adif also manages stations and freight terminals and it acts as the capacity allocating body for railway companies, granting fully transparent and non-discriminatory conditions.  

 

 Adif is one of the biggest companies in Spain, the main investing company in the country for years, responsible for the modernisation and improvement of the Spanish rail infrastructures over the last decades, specially its 3500km-long High Speed network, one of the safest, better performing and reliable in the world.
