Session 4.3 | Integrating Dance and Technology

Integrating Dance and Technology curriculum to develop real-world innovations, Dance Dynamics focuses on a Semester unit of work for Year 7 and 8 students. Framed by popular social dance practices (TikTok trends, Just Dance), students will learn about Elements of Dance, Choreographic Devices and Production elements, leveraging the Digital Technologies content descriptors to explore general capabilities across various contexts. In integrating IT apps and AI tools, students can present and communicate their understanding of dance terminology and theory in innovative ways, linking them to real-world practices in the Dance and Tech industries.
