Session 3.3 | Embodied Narratives: Crafting Movement & Text

Nadia will begin by sharing her unique movement style through a dynamic sequence, followed by an exploration of her creative practice which blends text and movement. She will delve into how stream-of-consciousness writing and movement can not only generate creative content but also uncover the curiosities that inspire impactful and compelling work. This process is rooted in care, welcoming participants of all skill levels and backgrounds, with a focus on excellence through deep questioning and creative approaches. Nadia will then demonstrate how this writing and movement process can be used to craft compelling new work, as she has done for her latest projects: The Last Princess of Lebanon (a one-woman theatre piece) and The Ocean Between Us, an international collaboration with Indian artist Diya Naidu.
