Calgary Economic Development’s Film Commission office in collaboration with local scouts facilitate tours of Calgary region locations for producers, filmmakers and location managers considering the area as a filming location. In addition, the office provides a one-window access for all City of Calgary location permits and maintains ongoing efforts towards industry collaboration, sustainable production practices with a focus on equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility.

Calgary’s Digital Media & Entertainment sector is experiencing rapid growth. Digital transformation (DX) is quickly becoming the largest driver of creative solutions and technology investments among Calgary businesses.
