OYA Black Arts Coalition (OBAC) is a Toronto-based non-profit organization committed to empowering Black artists, creators, and entrepreneurs within the film and media industries. Its core mission is to address Anti-Black racism and dismantle racial disparities within the industry, fostering lasting change for Black creatives both behind and in front of the camera.

Since its inception, OBAC has supported over 350 Black creatives and entrepreneurs through industry workshops with leading production companies, networking opportunities with key broadcasters, and innovative programs designed to amplify Black voices in film and media.

By facilitating the development, production and distribution of projects, OBAC continues to show its dedication to transforming the entertainment sector - ensuring that Black creatives have safe spaces where they can refine their craft, experiment with new ideas and rise to their full potential.
