Plant cells serve as the fundamental building blocks of life in the kingdom Plantae. Unlocking the mysteries of their structure and function at a molecular level is imperative to decipher the intricate mechanisms that govern plants’ physiology, development, and interaction with the environment. Recent advancements in genetics, genomics, molecular biology, biochemistry, and microscopy have significantly enhanced our understanding of crucial cellular processes in plants.
