Biotic Interactions
Information
In nature environments, plants face continuous challenges from a diverse array of pests and pathogens. Plant immunity represents the plants' ability to perceive signals from microbe pathogens and insect herbivores, transmit these signals systemically to ward off future attacks, and enact direct and indirect defenses These defenses aim to diminish the performance of pests and pathogens and/or bolster the plant's tolerance. This symposium serves as a platform for delving into recent advances in the understanding of the molecular and biochemical mechanisms of plant immunity against various biotic stresses.
