Information

The use of liquid chromatography to characterize therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) is a core component of the modern biopharmaceutical industry. In this presentation, various approaches to advancing this analytical methodology will be described. In one study, the effect of particle pore size on mAb efficiency and retention was observed, with larger pore diameters providing improved resolution of minor mAb constituent peaks. Multiple efforts towards greener LC analysis of mAbs included the investigation of both 0.3 mm and 1.5 mm inner diameter columns in biopharmaceutical workflows. Finally, the development of a rapid method for the separation of multiple mAbs in co-formulations of these therapeutic agents will be detailed.
