Beer Foam Challenge: Fun with Stability Analysis

We will prepare a selection of common beers from the market, and participants will analyze and interpret the IUS curves of different beer foams to rate their stability. They will then select the beer they believe has the best foam stability. Participants whose answers align closely with the conclusions from our instrument tests will win prizes.
This activity simplifies complex scientific concepts through IUS curve analysis, offering an interactive experience that allows participants to directly engage. It helps them understand how BeScan Lab, as a stability analyzer, addresses challenges in beverage stability analysis. Additionally, the activity educates participants on the relationship between beer foam and flavor, linking foam stability to beer quality, making it easier for participants to comprehend the real-world applications of the instrument.
