Fragrance creation is evolving through the integration of AI and synthetic biology. Arome AI is a new tool designed to support independent perfumers, niche brands, and entrepreneurs in exploring novel scent molecules—traditionally a space requiring significant R&D resources.

This talk introduces how Arome AI uses in silico molecule design to help users visualize and develop new fragrance compounds. Alongside that, it supports the planning of biosynthetic production by using AI to design enzymes that could enable lab-based synthesis through synthetic biology. The goal is to make the exploration of fragrance innovation more approachable while remaining complementary to existing industry expertise.
