OpenG2P enables governments and humanitarian organisations to deliver critical social benefits directly to those who need them. OpenG2P is envisioned to contribute to an open and inclusive approach to benefit transfers, protect privacy, promote gender equality, and financial inclusion, aiming to enhance the lives of individuals by leveraging digital technology for government-to-people service delivery.

OpenG2P Offers:

• Open-Source, Interoperable Blocks: Ready-to-deploy software building blocks that facilitate the efficient delivery of essential services, including disaster relief, social safety nets, and agricultural assistance.
• ⁠Support for Country Adoption: Resources and guidance to assist nations in effectively implementing the solutions.
• ⁠Capacity Building: Training to enhance local skills and knowledge across government, commercial ecosystem, research institutions

The not-for-profit Digital Public Good is currently housed in the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B), to promote product development and dissemination at scale.
