Durham Lifting has established itself as the leading independent testing and lifting expert within its field. Our impressive Avery H2 test bed is the largest of its kind in the UK and is calibrated by National Physical Laboratory. Classified as a Class 1 testing machine in accordance with BS EN ISO 7500-1:2018.

Durham Lifting. work with you to design equipment in house and manufacture to order - your needs drive every step of the process. We specialise in the manufacture of lifting and handling equipment, lifting frames and modular spreader beams up to 1800tonne all supported by ancillary equipment for both sale and hire.

MULTI-SEC LIFTING SYSTEMS – designed and manufactured in the UK, the range includes modular spreader beams, modular lifting frames, lifting beams, adjustable module lifting frames, lifting and spreader frames. LIFTING EQUIPMENT – we stock a full range of lifting products, load restraint and height safety equipment, available for immediate dispatch. HIRE - Utilising our existing hire fleet within your rigging design assures that equipment is readily available and results in substantial costs savingsSTATUTORY EXAMINATIONS – our qualified engineers can undertake thorough examination on all types of cranes, plant and lifting equipment. TESTING – we proof load test or test to destruction a variety of lifting equipment, structures, components, parts and products.
