Barrios Unidos is here to be of support to individuals struggling with addiction, support family shattered by the addiction, re-engaging community through the spirit of Querencia!
Querencia: The Folk term for love of place, land, culture, and people. If we do not learn to love them we will never defend them.
Barrios Unidos exists because of the love for my son, familia, our community.
While there is breath there is hope.
Barrios Unidos has been up and running since Feb 24, 2015.
