Information

First released in version 6.6 “Electra”, OpenNebula now comes with new native support for backups, leveraging datastore back-ends and a new type of image to represent datastores. This solution allows you to implement tier-based backup policies, leverage access control and quota systems, as well as different storage and backup technologies. Join us in this session to find out how incremental backups can now be performed in OpenNebula through its API, CLI, and GUI by using the existing two backup drivers: rsync and restic. In this session you will also learn first-hand from Bareos and Storware how those capabilities are going to be expanded in the near future thanks to the ongoing development of open source drivers for integrating their respective advanced backup solutions.
