Join us in this session to learn about the huge importance of open source and open data to research, and to find out how Oracle—the company behind iconic open source technologies like MySQL and Java—is contributing to that. We will also delve into the inspiring collaboration between Oracle for Research and Rice University, where they joined forces to develop and contribute an open source cloud-bursting driver to the OpenNebula community, which now allows users to easily expand their on-premise Private Clouds with additional virtual resources from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
