Information

Kepler is changing the economics of satellite communications with the build-out of its Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation.  With the launch of its first satellite in January 2018, Kepler became the first to operate a KU-band satellite in LEO orbit.

Kepler's Global Data Service (GDS) solution is the only satellite data service designed specifically for high-capacity data transfer.  GDS is a store-and-forward service that provides an economical method to move large quantities of latent-tolerable data around the globe. Gigabytes of drilling and survey data, sensor logs, UAV imagery, video, media vaults and other data-intensive files can be transmitted daily, eliminating the need to wait for the operation to return to a network access point, or utilizing lower-bandwidth options at significantly higher costs.

In September of this year, Kepler launched three new satellites, becoming the first to have satellites in LEO with both wideband and narrowband capabilities.  In the coming months, Kepler will launch EverywhereIOT, a global connectivity solution for IoT devices.  Early customer demonstrations will commence shortly -- talk to us to learn more!
