Information

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives are a top priority for many organizations right now. One diversity group, individuals with disabilities, intersects with the full array of human experience: race, nationality, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, class, religion, age, and more. Indeed, disability is the one diversity group that anyone can join at any time and many of us will at some point in our lives. Yet, employer policies and programs aimed at increasing workplace diversity rarely target individuals with disabilities.  This session will explore how to embrace an approach to recruiting, hiring, onboarding, retaining, and advancing individuals with disabilities that will also yield dividends in your overall diversity efforts. Inclusion is a concept that applies to everyone. By intentionally creating an environment that is designed to meet the broadest possible needs, everyone and everything touched by that environment—including a company’s products and services—benefits.

Learning Objectives
