DHU offers a range of service provisions across the Midlands and beyond, working in collaboration with partners and colleagues across regional and national NHS systems, GP federations and other private provider companies. We provide innovative, integrated solutions that ensure all our patients and communities can access the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
As part of the NHS frontline, we lead urgent care in Emergency Departments, Urgent Treatment Centres, GP And Primary Care Surgeries and out in our communities. Our diverse workforce includes medical, nursing, allied health, and support teams, offering both in-hours and out-of-hours clinical services.
Our services include community nursing, urgent treatment, primary care streaming, urgent on-day primary care, GP home visits, phlebotomy, community hospital medical cover, telephone consultation, and palliative care. DHU also plays a key role in NHS 111, being the largest single provider of the service for the entire Midlands region.
