Outpatients Healthcare Assistant

Our first healthcare facility in London will be our Outpatients Clinic located in Portland Place and will be opening in 2021. Cleveland Clinic London are looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants preferably with experience in an Outpatient setting. They will primarily be involved in assisting nursing Caregivers and providing direct patient care, as well as ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and always working in a manner that promotes privacy and dignity You will be: • Responsible for ensure consulting and treatment rooms are prepared ahead of each clinic and between patients • Responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nursing Caregivers • Competent in carrying out basic observations and recording the results whilst recognising own limitations and the need to escalate as necessary • Able to act as a role model, ensuring the reputation of the nursing profession is upheld • Assisting 1 day a week with non clinical patient facing activities e.g. scheduling appointments, attending general patient queries, other administrative duties etc • Able to support the team in delivering department KPIs as appropriate • The holder of anNVQ level 3 or higher; Care Certificate. “Cleveland Clinic London is committed to supporting the health and well-being of all caregivers with a comprehensive umbrella of services.
