Nurse Colposcopist Band 7

Are you passionate about women's health and patient centred care? Are you an experienced and highly skilled professional with a determination to deliver high quality care? We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Nurse colposcopsist to work within our women's health division which encompasses the gynaecology outpatient department. The outpatient service incorporates specialist clinics including colposcopy, menopause, urogynaecology, 2 week wait cancer patients, general gynaecology, fertility, post-menopausal bleeding, endometriosis and fertility services. We also offer outpatient hysteroscopy and assist termination of pregnancy patients. This exciting role offers great opportunity for an experienced nurse looking for new challenges and learning opportunities to develop further. You will work alongside a dedicated multidisciplainary team and continue to enhance the nurse-led component of the colposcopy service. You will also have the prospect to utilise and develop your managerial skills. Working in partnership with the Matron, specialist gynaecologists and clinical nurse specialists you will help to deliver a high quality patient centred service and be a positive role model to other Colleagues and junior members of the team. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to the colposcopy service , change management experience and transferable skills gained throughout their career to improve and drive the service forward.
