Band 5 CAMHS Nurses

We are recruiting newly qualified and experienced mental health nurses! We are looking for Band 5 Nurses to join our friendly in-patient team within our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) . No previous CAMHS experience required. Chalkhill Hospital is a modern , purpose built 16 bedded facility located in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. We are the only NHS Tier 4 C.A.M.H.S. in-patient service in Sussex and offer a unique and rewarding experience supporting young people to recover at a critical time in their development so they have the best chance to succeed in life. You will be working primarily on our in-patient ward. We also have a Health Based Place of Safety for young people detained under section 136 of the Mental Health Act attached to the ward. You will develop a broad range of skills supporting young people experiencing low mood, OCD, autism, eating disorders, emotional difficulties and psychosis. If you have not previously worked in CAMHS, don't worry! Many of your skills from other acute settings will be transferable and we will provide training to meet any learning needs identified in your appraisal.
