The Nurse Consultant for Infection Prevention Control and Lead Nurse for Tissue Viability is responsible for professionally and managerially leading the Infection Prevention and Control, and Tissue Viability team at North Bristol NHS Trust (NBT). They will report professionally to the Director of Nursing & Quality and managerially to the Deputy Director of Nursing & Quality.
The post holder will work closely with the Director of Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC) providing expert advice and guidance both internally and externally to the Trust.
The post holder will be a clinical expert in the field of Infection Control and will fulfil the 4 domains of the Nurse Consultant function:
Advanced and expert level practice within the field of Infection Control
Leadership and consultancy
Development and provision of education and training
Service development, evaluation, research and audit.
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Nurse Consultant in Infection Control with a proven track record to lead the Infection Prevention Nursing and Tissue Viability Team at North Bristol NHS .
