This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join an excellent Older People's Mental Health team working in the Torbay area where we are fortunate to have such beautiful views and walks within a minute from the office. Our team complete assessments, treatment and reviews for people over 65yrs old experiencing any form of mental illness including organic and functional conditions. There is a strong focus on working with individuals, carers and providers to reduce BPSD and the risk of admission to hospital or care home. You will play a key role in a dynamic multidisciplinary team, working with multiple agencies on a daily basis. You will be confident working without supervision, with the knowledge to devise individual recovery plans for the people you see. It’s important that you can communicate effectively, not only with your colleagues, but the people you care for, their families and carers. You will be at the centre of their care.
