We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Registered Health Care Professional with a passion for education and staff development. You will work with the Clinical Education Team to support the development of clinical staff’s skills and knowledge by developing and implementing competency-based training and mentorship. The roles involve working closely with the clinical teams, quality department and external providers to deliver high quality training that is in line with national, local, and organisational policy. The working hours for the role can be discussed with the applicant.
About you
You should be a Registered Healthcare Professional, with post registration experience including a knowledge of palliative care. Ideally, your previous experience will include teaching, leading, and managing projects. You will have a degree or be working towards a relevant teaching qualification. Excellent communication and leadership skills, an eye for detail, experience of developing competencies and the ability to collate accurate information from a wide variety of sources are key for success in this role.
Alternatively, you may have the desire and enthusiasm to be looking for a developmental role with a view to moving into palliative care, teaching, or a CNS role. You will have experience in a medical or palliative care environment, have good communication skills, some experience of teaching, an eye for detail and a willingness to undertake further training. In return we will develop your skills with training and the support of mentorship from our experienced education team.
